At our school, we recognise that the wellbeing of our staff is fundamental to creating a positive and successful learning environment for our pupils. Our values of Ambition, Compassion and Inclusion guide how we support one another as a professional community.
Ambition means striving to create a workplace where staff can thrive professionally while maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal wellbeing. We aim to reduce unnecessary workload, provide access to professional development, and ensure staff have the support they need to perform their roles effectively.
Compassion underpins the way we care for one another. We promote a culture where staff feel safe to talk about wellbeing, seek support when needed and know that their experiences will be listened to and respected.
Inclusion ensures that every member of staff feels valued, respected and supported. We are committed to promoting equality, celebrating diversity and creating an environment where everyone feels they belong.
We actively promote staff wellbeing through supportive leadership, opportunities for professional dialogue, and signposting to external organisations such as the Education Support and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, which provide specialist advice and confidential support for education staff.
By embedding wellbeing into our culture and daily practice, we aim to ensure that all staff feel supported, valued and able to flourish.
